A whole month of rehearsal is on. We’ve got 30 songs to play. 30 songs we’ve played before, for sure, but 30 songs we’ve got to play like we’ve never played before. There’s something about the good honest smelly sweat of a three-hour jam in a stuffy, padded room that is invigorating. Or is that just the little unwashed boy inside revelling in pre-bath dim-glow.
I like the two new new songs, Tell It Like It Is and Chameleon. Still a tad hung up on the old urban angst, but hey, that’s what and where we are. They’re loud and they’re a little aggressive, sniggering faintly at some earlier funky tilt, and so far, they’ve worked live. Well, we played them once, at that stadium gig you probably just read about.
Why is all this copy right-aligned? Dunno, just seemed like a good idea. Have always been a bit of left-winger, so maybe a type on the right side might give me a new perspective.
Big news folks. there’s big news but I can’t tell you just yet. come back. soon.
